Following the ongoing success of the Charity’s two previous golf days, we are thrilled to announce the return of the Asmir Begovic Foundation Golf Classic, to be held once again at the Old Course – Burhill Golf Club, Monday, 13th May.
Both Golf Classics have been a sell out, with Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir welcoming friends and colleagues such as John Terry, Kevin Pietersen, Roberto Di Matteo, Petr Cech, Matt Dawson, Manish Bhasan and Rishi Persad over the course of the previous two events. This is a special opportunity to not only meet Legends from the world of sport & media – but to team up with them in an effort to win the day’s grand prize!
The Golf Classic is integral to the fundraising platforms available to the charity and proceeds will help to fund the building and improvement of recreational facilities both in the UK and Bosnia-Herzegovina, encouraging kids to be active and provide them with the opportunity to get involved in sports.
“ABF was set up in 2013 with the main purpose aimed at making a difference to the lives of children in Bosnia and the UK and providing them with the facilities to lead a purposeful and active life through sport, “ said Asmir.
“I’m very excited for our third annual Golf Classic to be taking place this May. Our two previous events have proved incredibly successful, it’s an extremely important fundraiser for ABF and allows athletes and sports personalities to make a difference”.
